Analog Way named Philippe Vitali marketing & communications director. He is based in Analog Way’s headquarters near Paris, France. Prior to Analog Way, Vitali served as business unit manager for a global supplier of precision instruments. ARRI promoted Sebastien Laffoux to director of sales, camera systems. In this new role, Laffoux will oversee the camera sales team for North America with regional representatives based in Los Angeles, New York and Toronto. Laffoux reports to Glenn Kennel, president of ARRI Inc. Avolites’ U.S. distributor, Group One Ltd., named RL Wilson & Associates to represent the lighting brand in Southern California, Southern Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii. RL Wilson & Associates, based in Temecula, CA and founded in 1988, is led by Rich Wilson. Chauvet named Carlos Zamora de Martino general manager of Chauvet Mexico. Prior to joining Chauvet’s Mexican operation, Zamora held senior executive positions at a number of global companies. He was also the co-founder and CEO of Geo Lite LED Lighting. In his new position, he will be responsible for managing all facets of the Chauvet Professional, Chauvet DJ, Iluminarc and Trusst business in Mexico. Core Brands named Neal Ellsworth product manager, new initiatives, a new position. Ellsworth will lead efforts to create new categories of products and new products within established categories working under the direction of Mike Jordan, Core Brands’ vice president of product management. DTS Lighting’s U.S. distributor, Group One Ltd., named Tyler Wise national sales manager for the Italy-based brand. Wise will also continue to serve as the national sales manager for elektraLite, another lighting brand distributed by Group One. Harting and Arrow Electronics announced and expanded distribution agreement Nov. 10. Arrow, which has been a Harting distributor in North America for 22 years, will now distribute the company’s products in the EMEA and APAC regions as well. The company says the acquisition will expand the products and services now offered for the performing arts market by Wenger and its subsidiary J.R. Clancy. Westview Productions named Kara Kudzma project manager for the lighting division. Kudzma joins Westview after 10 years as a project manager for exhibition planning & implementation at the Denver Art Museum. Zenith Lighting named Adam Vidaurri chief operating officer (COO). Vidaurri joined Zenith Lighting in 2010 and was soon promoted to sales manager, then general manager for the company’s South Florida location prior to his most recent promotion to COO.
