Audinate OEM Partners Introduce Dante Products at Frankfurt Show

FRANKFURT, Germany — Audinate announced that eight of its OEM partners launched a total of 13 Dante-enabled products at this year’s Prolight + Sound from brands including Yamaha, Harman, Nexo, JoeCo, Four Audio, Auvitran, Symetrix and TEQSAS.

“The market is dictating what it wants, and Dante seems to be the answer,” said Lee Ellison, Audinate CEO, noting the wide range of products.

The new Dante-enabled gear included Yamaha’s Centralogic Series (CL1, CL3 and CL5) digital mixing systems with Dante network-based remote stage boxes. (For more, turn to Tech Preview, page 36).

Harman also introduced Dante network cards for its Soundcraft Vi, Si1/2/3 and Si Compact series digital consoles. Nexo announced the new NXDT104 Dante audio plug-in card for the NXAMP, which is at the heart of their new STM modular line array. JoeCo introduced the Dante version of its BBR64 BlackBox USB harddrive multi-track recorder. Four Audio launched their new 1RU DBO1 Dante enabled breakout box with 8 analog output channels. Others with Dante-enabled gear at the show included Symetrix (SymNet Edge) and TEQSAS (cyberTEQ).
